We take pride in providing materials that are versatile and safe for creating your wares and artworks. Unless otherwise stated, all clay and glazes sold at our store are lead free and food-safe. Products made from our materials can be used in the microwave, oven, and on the stovetop. 

Due to individual artistic decisions made when creating artwork and claywares, please be aware that Tung Yao Ceramics will not be held responsible for any damages resulting from the misuse of materials purchased at our store. 

To ensure that you can safely enjoy the use of your purchased materials, we recommend all customers to read through the directions for use provided alongside your purchase. Consultations with one of our experienced tutors or technicians are also available. Please contact our team for more details. 

Differences in kilns, firing cone temperature, studio environment, and natural materials may influence the final outcome of your fired ware. Therefore, product images and test pieces shown on this website are for reference only. 

We highly recommend all customers to create test pieces before using the clay, glazes, and associated materials for your final artwork.
